The truth about rebate processor jobs...

Rebate Processor jobs are the latest home based business fad flooding the internet, and as with all fads there is a lot to watch out for.  There are several companies that claim that they can set you up with a job processing rebates at an amazing wage of $15 per completed rebate and no shortage of work.  So do these Rebate Processor Jobs really exist...?

These programs sound like real work but unfortunately just like with the majority of data entry programs they are all smoke and mirrors.  After you pay for their memberships of $197 you do not get access to a list of companies in need of home workers.

What these Rebate Processing programs offer is nothing more than a clever twist on what the data entry programs have been doing for years.  They simply tell you to start marketing digital products online and offer a rebate on them.

So for instance, if an eBook is selling for $50 with an affiliate program that pays 50% commission they advise you to offer a rebate in the neighborhood of ten bucks.  Thus, if you get a sale you make 25 - 10 with a profit of 15 dollars.

Here is the CATCH, in order to attract customers to your rebate proposal you will have to advertise on the major search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN.  This advertising is done on a cost per click basis and if you follow the system you should be prepared to invest several hundred dollars. I know this first hand, because I paid for the program "Process Affiliate Rebates" myself and found out it was a scam. I then tried to get my money back, which turned out to be the worst night mare in history. After about 20 emails and 7 calls to their 800# I got through and the operator keep telling me to just wait the 90 days, just give it a try and I kept saying no, please refund my account. Well she sounded like a broken record because she went on to say "just try it for 90 days then call back" about 50 more times and that's no lie, then hung up on me. I still have not seen any refund to date and I have spent over 15 hours on the phone and countless hours emailing customer service. No one should ever have to go through this type of experience. 

So basically, you're not paying for a Rebate Processor job but for a sales strategy that can be applied to affiliate marketing.  It is possible to make money with this method but it requires money to invest as you will be paying close to one dollar every time somebody clicks on your advertisement.  This can quickly add up to you spending hundreds of dollars a day.

Yes; Absolutely there are!  The U.S. Government estimates that nearly a million Americans use the Internet to earn a living.  I'm very fortunate to be able to say that I'm one of those people myself.  It wasn't all that easy though...
